Kentucky Fried Chicken Colonel Sanders Look-a-like Contest
Competition will be on the KFC stage on Saturday, April 12th,
at 3:15 p.m. during the WDRM's Chicken Clucking contest.
The winner will be determined by audience applause.
Winner will receive a years supply of KFC!

CATCH-A-FALLING-EGG CONTEST

This contest will include events for both middle and high school students. Contestants must complete an application form (one per team). Two teams will be chosen as winners – (1 from the middle school group and 1 from the high school group). Assistance for the contest is provided by the College of Engineering of UAH and Lewis Innovative Technologies, Inc. of Moulton.

There is a prize in the amount of $500.00 per winning team (one high school and one middle school team).

ALABAMA FARMER'S CO-OP 2008 PHOTO CONTEST

Competition is divided into four themed categories:
Life on the Farm
Livestock
Crops
Agriculture Families
Prizes will be awarded for each category in the following amounts: First - $125; Second - $75; Third - $50. In addition, each participant will receive 2 free tickets to the Alabama Chicken & Egg Festival in Moulton, AL, April 12-13, 2008. (Tickets are not redeemable for cash.)

LITTLE CHICK BEAUTY WALK CONTEST

A pageant Showcasing the best of Alabama’s Youth for ages
18 Years and Younger!
This year the Little Chick Beauty Walk will be the weekend before the Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival, so that winners can be the host of activities at the festival. “Little Chicks” from across the state will take center stage at the Lawrence County High School auditorium on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. for an egg-citing promenade of fine-feathered young ladies.

WTAK / BURCH AGENCY CHICKEN POKER RUN

Join your fellow riders in the ultimate Poker Run. Cruise the scenic roads of North Alabama while drawing for the perfect hand with the final draw at the Alabama Chicken & Egg Festival in Moulton!

REGIONS BANK KARAOKE FOR BIG CHICKENS

All ages are welcome. Each applicant will be able to sing one song of their choice. Competition will take place on the Jackson House Stage from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday. Winners will be announced at 3:30 p.m.
Prizes: 1st Place - $150, 2nd Place - $100, 3rd Place - $50.
