The Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival is a two-day outdoor festival with food vendors, live entertainment, educational exhibits, children’s activities, arts and crafts fair, and much more.

"EGGER" TO APPEAR AT BOTANICAL GARDEN SCARECROW TRAIL
Dozens of wild, wacky, scary and funny crows are once again hiding behind the trees throughout the Huntsville Botanical Garden. This year, the scarecrows will be in place on August 30th and will remain on display until Halloween. Joining the wacky and wild division will be Egger Chickenlittle, an entry submitted by the Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival.

This year’s pageant will
be held at the Lawrence
County High School
auditorium. The event is
open for young ladies
