FOOD VENDORS REGISTRATION

Vendors from last year are given first priority for returning.  These vendors must be registered by January 15th, 2013 with money and completed applications. If you are a new vendor and would like to join us, please call Vicki Morese at 256-905-0700 before submitting an application.  Menus and pricing must be approved before money and applications will be accepted.

Preference will be given to vendors with creative chicken/egg/turkey dishes.


APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 15, 2013.


SPACE SIZE: Your space is a basic 10 X 10, however should you require additional space we can accommodate you. Please note on the food vendor form the amount of space you need.


ELECTRICITY: Provided.


RESTRICTIONS:
The festival maintains exclusive beverage rights for bottle water, soft drinks, and lemonade. Food Vendors may sell homemade tea, sweet or unsweet, hot coffee.

PREFERED ITEMS: Preference will be given to vendors with creative chicken/egg/turkey dishes.

SET UP: All set up for Fairground Food Vendors must be complete by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday prior to the Friday School Day start at 9:30 a.m. All set up for the Coliseum Food Vendor must be complete by 3 p.m. Friday prior to Friday 5 p.m. festival start.  All set up for Down on the Farm Food Vendors must be complete by 6:00 p.m. on Friday prior to Saturday festival start.  Vehicles will be permitted inside the festival fence when the patrons leave.


FOOD TICKETS: All prices are in increments of $1. Festival committee will sell tickets to patrons. Patrons will exchange tickets for all food and beverage. Food vendors may not take cash under any circumstance.

ICE: The festival will have bag ice for sell.  Please let us know if you will have a need to purchase ice prior to arriving. The ice is for your convenience and will be reasonably priced.

LIGHTS: Your booth (tent or trailer) should be equipped with lights for evening.


HEALTH INSPECTION: The Lawrence County Health Department will be doing inspection of each booth. Vendors are responsible for inspection fees.

RV Camping at the festival
A limited number of RV campsites are available at the Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival location for vendors only. Please contact the festival at (256) 905-0700 for additional information.

2013 FESTIVAL AND LITTLE CHICK DATES ANNOUNCED
The Alabama Chicken & Egg Festival will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 12-14, 2013. The Little Chick Pageant will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013.
